Ultimate Power Speak’s training program consists of five phases. Each phase provides the information, skills and techniques to improve communications with an audience. Each phase builds on the previous one, and together, the five phases create a powerful training program tailored to your organization.
Assessment — the Ultimate Power Speak trainer gathers information and becomes familiar with the
communication pains, problems and strengths that challenge your organization or specific employees.
Plan — Ultimate Power Speak uses information gained during the assessment phase to develop a
training-program plan that is tailored to your organization and to achieving the results you envision.
Target — participants are identified for the pilot programs. Individual assessments on the selected group provide a closer view of the participants’ goals, attitudes and personal assessment of their skills.
Act — this phase is divided into three sections: delivery skill development, knowledge or content skills, and interaction skills. Each training section is listener-focused rather than speaker-focused, enabling the participant to focus on the impact his message creates, not how it feels.
Learn (measurement) — goals are established during the planning phase. Measurement throughout the program is key to making your training investment count. The coaching process is visible and active throughout the program. On-the-spot coaching helps the individual become aware of certain behaviors at the moment those behaviors occur. After-the-exercise coaching provides key feedback, which is part of the program’s total designed measurement.
